STrac 700 unveiled at Saltex A085

The Maredo STrac 700 is a revolutionary pedestrian power unit which supports four different groundcare operations – scarifying, aeration, seeding and fraise mowing.

Worthy of its ‘access-all-areas’ badge, the STrac 700 is light, fast and versatile. Even on difficult undulations, it provides uniformity of care and presentation across a whole site. Challenging areas like the collars of a golf course, or, bowling greens, where a tractor is too heavy, or just can’t access are now possible.

Brought to you via your local Wiedenmann UK dealer, the STrac 700 has easy controls on the guiding handle and a set of inter-changeable heads. A short turning radius means the rear wheels can adopt  a variety of operating positions, while the tools connect effortlessly, cassette style.

Maredo offers four separate tool types with working widths of 65 cm. New tools are in development.

  • The ST200 Flex-Verticutter scarifies to 25 mm using carbide blades which counter rotate so material is lifted tidily out the way.
  • To relieve compaction to 60 mm in stressed turf, the ST210 Vibe-Spike Aerator follows undulations or makes curves as required. The spike tools vibrate to crack the soil, punching holes to let air and nutrients through.
  • The ST170 FlexFrase-Mower strips off up to 20 mm of the turf’s top layer, leaving a smooth surface to overseed. It also removes bumps and undulations on goal mouths, tee boxes and gardens.
  • The ST418 VibeDisc-Seeder  uses unique technology to plant seed and protect it.  This is a slit seeder which dose seed from 0 to -15 mm  from 2 g/m ² to 15 g/m². The seed box contains up to 6 kg seed with slit spacings at 42 mm. Coming soon is a dimple seeder head which creates a pattern of dimples for seed placement.
